What is the PFA? The general management of the PFA is entrusted to an executive committee consisting of Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and at least THREE members. They are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting. Committee meetings are held at least once each half term. Agendas and minutes of meetings and decisions are available through the school office.
What does the PFA do? Our main aim is to supplement equipment and activities provided by the school and to enhance the school environment and achieve a more supportive and social atmosphere for all. Through fund raising we have provide all kinds of things; from skipping ropes, parasols, benches and the boat to climbing apparatus, staging blocks, football kits and Roding track suits for the teams that go out and represent the school. For many years the PFA have financed the Year 6 leaver’s party. Just recently the PFA financed a school ‘wish list’ of over £1000 worth of books and ‘wet play’ packs. Current projects include curtaining for school halls and building funds to re equip the Reception/Year 1 playground. How can I get involved? Come and see for yourself - everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. Meetings are held at the school on an evening (7.30pm) each half term. Dates are advertised on PFA notice boards around the school or you can contact members of the PFA committee via the School Office. |
